If your follicles begin to constrict while you are working, take a wash cloth and wet it with very warm water. Squeeze it out then gently press it over the area for about 60 seconds. Continue working. Do NOT touch any area on your face that is clear of blemishes.
5. Pimples: Change your gloves. Discard the first pair. It is very important that you make sure pimples are ready to be “popped” before proceeding. If pimples are red or flesh colored, they are NOT ready to be popped. Instead, pat some of the antibacterial solution over these. If there are pimples that have large white tips however, they ARE ready. The pimple should be mostly white. Using the pads of your fingers as described before, place your index fingers on each side of a white pimple, and gently squeeze out the gunk. Use the antibacterial solution on a new cotton ball. Continue in this manner of squeezing and sterilizing. If blood begins to come out at any point, stop squeezing immediately – the pimple is not quite ready. Pat antibacterial solution over it and move on to a different pimple. If you need to, do not forget to employ another warm washcloth. Do not use the previous cloth; use a fresh one instead. Do NOT touch any area of you face that is clear of blemishes.
6. After you complete this procedure, remove your gloves and discard them. Thoroughly wash your hands. Wash your face again with your facial cleanser and rinse with warm water. Gently pat your face with the hand towel, being careful not to rub. Remove the dripping water, but leave your face damp. Using a cotton ball or cotton round, apply your astringent gently. Then apply a small amount of your moisturizer all over you face. Pat and gently press the moisturizer onto your face using circular motions (circles should go away from your nose). Avoid harsh rubbing as much as is possible. Discard the water in the mixing bowl and the antibacterial solution.
